Hi, I’m Amanda Rose
I am a plant passionate earth lover. A mother, wife, aunt and friend. I am a certified clinical herbalist and nutritionist with over 5,000 hours of training and thousands of hours of clinical experience. I am a organic gardener, permaculture designer, biodynamic herb grower, and native plant nerd. I am a writer, content creator, and idea generator. I am Amanda Rose Klenner.
It is so hard to define ones self really. Who am I? I am a woman who has lived a life. A woman who is constantly learning more, and pushing boundaries, integrating holistic health and nutrition, while working with doctors to help my clients reach their health goals.
I have been an herbalist for over 15 years. In that time, I have apprenticed with wise woman herbalists, studied with Paul Bergner at North American Institute of Medical Herbalism, Aviva Romm’s Herbal Medicine for Women, Shamanic Herbalism with Darcy Blue, Field Study with Michael Cottingham, Flower Essences with Charis Denny, and am currently studying on the Wise Womb Path with Naome Love of Earth Oracle Arts, American Herbalist Guild Low Dose Botanical certificate, along with many herbal conferences, one off classes, and self study.
I have taught at herb conferences across the Western US, including Red Earth Herbal Gathering, Mountain West Herb Conference, Botanica, and more! I published Natural Herbal Living Magazine and produced the herb boxes to go along with it for almost 10 years, and sold my herbal goodies at farmers markets and events across Colorado, Arizona, and California.
I have gardened in the tough clay soils of Colorado for the last 13 years, and have learned a lot using earth centered, ecologically based methods of repairing the soil, and choosing the right plants for the right guilds. After a lot of trial and error, I took the Permaculture Design Course by Permaculture Education, and watched many videos from the CSU extension office. Although I don’t claim mastery in any thing, because claiming mastery is a good sign someone has stopped trying to learn, I certainly have a knack for gardening in our harsh climate in the Front Range of Colorado, and have many tricks to helping an organic garden thrive.
On a personal note, I have Celiac and Fibromyalgia, and suffered from PCOS, Endometriosis, Fibroids, and PMDD for years until recently. I controlled my symptoms and diseases for years with nutrition and herbs, but after years of heavy bleeding, got a hysterectomy and oophorectomy. I worked closely with my medical team to help my body heal from these surgeries using nutrition and herbs, and am on the other side happier and healthier.
Because of my unique life experience, I work very well with uterus carriers to help them balance and support healthy hormone function, fertility, menstrual symptoms, PCOS and Endometriosis support, menopause support, breast massage, and other conditions that womb holders have. I also work closely with many people who have auto-immune conditions, chronic pain, and those who are neuro-spicy.
I have two beautiful children, a supportive partner, and a little mini-suburban food forest in Longmont Colorado on almost 1/2 an acre of land. We have dogs, cats, lizards, chickens, ducks, and many gardens. I can’t wait to share them all with you.
Are you interested in working with me?
My Approach
Every BODY is different. We have all had different life experiences that shape us, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Though we may be the same age, race, or gender we have had wildly different experiences that have led us here, now.
I work with each person as an individual, taking as much time as we need to cover history from birth until now. We discuss not only physical symptoms, but also emotional and spiritual symptoms.
Nourish
The body can not function without enough nutrients to get through. Multi-vitamins don’t work for everyone, and are a very broad spectrum approach to nutrition. We will dial in your nutrition, add nourishing infusions and herbal teas, heal the gut, and support optimal nutrition to nourish your body and soul.
Support
Nourishing the body is the most important thing we can do. In addition, we can add herbs and supplements to help support your body on its healing journey. We will come up with a customized plant to help support your body in its healing process. I can also help support you in speaking to your medical team about working together to get blood work and tests you might need.
